ARTIST STATEMENT:
Through my work I am particularly interested how everyday absurdities shape our understanding of the world.
Using analogue collage, and photography I construct visual narratives that reflect on identity, silence, and the instability of meaning.
At times, I turn to irony — not as fixed strategy, but as ways to highlight the contradictions. It becomes a method of coping, questioning, and sometimes disarming the heaviness of the themes I engage with.
My practice is grounded in visual thinking — a search for forms and gestures that respond to a world in constant motion. It is an ongoing attempt to locate meaning, or at least to dwell meaningfully in its absence.
